Intraoral Camera
You may feel that you know your mouth well. It is, after all, your mouth. But wait until you meet your mouth from the inside out. Using an advanced intraoral camera, Dr. Castle will show you your mouth from an entirely new perspective!
The intraoral camera is a hand-held device that Dr. Castle and his staff use to view hard-to-see areas in your mouth. The camera is attached to a computer screen, allowing you to see instantly what Dr. Castle sees. With the push of a button, we can take still photos of your teeth from virtually any angle inside your mouth! The procedure is quick and painless. The live video and saved images collected by the intraoral camera allow us to identify potential problems, and begin to address them immediately with you.

Tooth-Colored Composite Fillings
When cavities develop in teeth, it is necessary to protect the teeth from further damage with fillings. If you’re worried about how your teeth will look following a filling, we have great news! In many instances, Dr. Castle is able to fill cavities with tooth-colored composite fillings. This means your fillings will be virtually invisible! And because these fillings bond better to teeth than traditional metal fillings, we are able, in most cases, to preserve more of your natural tooth.
Schedule an appointment with Dr.Castle to find out if composite fillings are right for you!
Endodontics/Root Canal Therapy
If you have a damaged tooth that is infected or is likely to become infected, Dr. Castle may recommend root canal therapy. Despite its menacing reputation, root canal therapy is actually a safe and relatively painless procedure when properly performed!
During root canal therapy, the tooth's nerve tissue is removed. It's this nerve tissue that causes the sensation of pain in an infected tooth. By removing the nerve tissue and replacing it with a permanent filling, pain is relieved, and the tooth is preserved. More often than not, Dr. Castle will also place a crown on the tooth following the root canal therapy to ensure the tooth’s structural integrity is maintained.
Porcelain Crowns & Fixed Bridges
Crowns are often called caps. They cover teeth to restore them to their appropriate shape and size after large fillings, fractures, or weakening forces such as intense grinding. In all of these cases, crowns not only cover teeth but provide needed strength as well. Crowns can also be used to attach bridges, cover dental implants, restore seriously discolored or misshapen teeth, and even as a preventive measure to protect a tooth in danger of breaking. Crowns in general are very strong restorations. In the hands of a skilled dentist, the meticulous preparation and subsequent molding results in a great fit both of the crown to the tooth surface and in the mouth with surrounding teeth.
Bridges attached to crowns replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges keep surrounding teeth from shifting, helping to prevent the need for more extensive (and more expensive) restorations in the future. A bridge is a more permanent and comfortable solution to a few missing teeth than dentures.

Implant Supported Crowns
Dr. Castle offers a variety of dental treatments that can help you get your smile back and better than ever, including implant supported crowns. These allow Dr. Castle to replace missing teeth with ones that look, feel, and perform like your own and are more durable and long-lasting than traditional tooth replacements. During the first step of this procedure, our office refers you to a doctor we know and trust, one skilled in implant dentistry, who surgically places a titanium screw or post in the affected area of your mouth. After the gums have healed around the post, Dr. Castle will resume care and place a new, natural looking crown on top of the post. This replacement tooth will look and feel just like it’s always been a part of your own natural smile! Your new tooth will also function in your mouth at full strength, even preserving bone health, just like your own healthy, natural teeth.
Professional Teeth Whitening
In addition to giving you the benefit of a cleaner looking and more attractive smile, whiter teeth can also enhance your confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Castle offers two methods to professionally and safely whiten your teeth.
We offer custom take home whitening kits that allow you to experience professional strength teeth whitening in the comfort and convenience of your own home. Simply wear your custom whitening trays as directed by Dr. Castle, and you'll soon enjoy a noticeably whiter smile!

Dentures
These are not your Grandma’s dentures! Today’s dentures are of a better quality and are more comfortable than ever before. Whether you need a full or partial denture, Dr. Castle and his staff are ready to help you get the high quality dentures you deserve. Not only will your new dentures feel great, but they’ll also look natural. Your friends will only know about your dentures if you decide to tell them!
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are teeth that typically come in between the ages of 17 and 25. Often, wisdom teeth do not grow in straight, and may need to be removed so they don't disrupt other teeth. Partially emerged wisdom teeth may also become infected, causing significant pain.
Although many dentists always refer patients to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth removal, Dr. Castle can often remove wisdom teeth right in our office!

Periodontal Health (Gum Health)
According to American Academy of Periodontology, about 80% of U.S. adults currently have some form of gum disease, ranging from gingivitis to serious periodontal disease. The prevalence of gum disease increases with age, because as we age, our teeth wear down and our gums naturally recede. If your gums feel tender or look red and swollen, you may be at risk for gum disease. Other signs include bleeding and/or receding gums, extremely sensitive or loose teeth, and persistent bad breath. Left untreated, gum disease eventually leads to tooth loss and other serious health problems.
Treatment for Gum Disease
The first thing to do is get a thorough dental evaluation with Dr. Castle. If you have any degree of periodontal disease, he can help. Although gum disease often requires surgery, many cases can now be treated with less invasive techniques first, such as deep dental cleanings, local antibiotics, and special mouth rinses. A healthy body needs a healthy mouth, and a healthy mouth needs healthy gums!

Relaxing Sedation Dentistry
Dental anxiety is not unusual, and people of any age can experience these feelings. We will happily adjust our care to meet your needs, so you can receive the treatment you need and desire at a pace that feels comfortable to you. We also offer sedation options to help you relax. If you've avoided seeing a dentist for a long time because of anxieties about dental treatment, please share your feelings and concerns with us so we can make your visit as relaxing and stress-free as possible.
Sedation Options
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Also called “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is a safe sedation method that helps anxious patients relax while Dr. Castle and his staff work. While inhaling nitrous oxide, patients often have a calm sense of happiness which allows them to relax during the procedure.
Dr. Castle and his friendly staff are trained on the use of nitrous oxide, and regularly inspect and regulate the equipment to ensure your safety! The effects of nitrous oxide are quite temporary – simply breathe regularly following treatment, and the oxygen in the air completely reverses the effects of the laughing gas!
Oral Conscious Sedation
Dr. Castle has gone to great lengths to make your entire visit relaxing and comfortable. But if you require a little extra help with relaxation, we’ve got you covered! We offer oral conscious sedation – just take a pill, and within a few minutes, you will be able to relax your body and mind while you receive high quality dental care.
